Hey Dolls!
My name is LC and I am a blushaholic! No, seriously.
This post is dedicated to my girl Nora over at Botoxey.
I have like a zillion blushers and I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, leave the house without wearing it! As a child I was not allowed to wear makeup, or even play with makeup. My family was quite strict about it and it sucked! All my friends had lip glosses, and cute purses to carry all their "makeup" in and well I had nothing!! BOOOOO! :: thumbs down :: haha! The one thing that I would do religiously is smack my cheeks really hard so it would give me a blushed look. Sounds nuts right? Back then, I totally thought it was a genius idea! After a while, my cheeks stopped hurting from doing it so much! hahaha I sound like such a freak right now!
Anywho... I swatched a few of my MAC Blushes - I absolutely LOVE these! I just purchased two of them in the bunch and I am already in love! The 2 new ones are Equilibrium and Gingerly.

The photos really speak for the blushes as far the color is concerned. Very spot on.
GINGERLY
is a darker peachy color. It has a pinkish brownish undertone when comparing it to Peaches. If you are fair skinned, dont be afraid.. you can totally rock this as a contour or apply it lightly to your cheeks to give them definition. I am an NC30 and I am not too light, but nor am I dark/too dark. I am directly in the middle. This works well with my skin tone and I do love the versatility of it.
DOLLYMIX
is your typical rosey cheek color. I have been using this blush for yearrrrrrrssss. I have not one thing bad to say about it. I love it because clearly I love rosey cheeks, but also because it works great year round for me. You can apply it lightly for a subtle blushed look or really smack it on for the evening or night out on the town blushed look. It also has a sparkly shimmer tint to it. It's not matte at all.
PEACHES
totally lives up to its name. It's a very peach pigmented blush. It was perfect for this summer as peaches/corals were totally in, and it will be perfect for this fall/winter. There isnt much versatility with this color though. It applies PEACH and remains PEACH. There isnt really a way to apply it lightly as it's very pigmented. I suppose you can just dab alittle and blend for a super super subtle look, but I cant promise it will look as good. You can look as though you arent wearing anything at all. Regardless, I LOVE this blush and do recommend for any skin tone!
PINK SWOON
is a baby pink frosty color. It can be applied sheer or built up to it's max baby pink color. I loved this blush for most of this year since I purchased it. Before my Peaches madness this was my go-to. It's a playful sassy color. Absolutely perfect for all skin tones!
EQUILIBRIUM
I just purchased this a few days ago. I havent had the opportunity to wear it out.. only in my home when I was testing it out - thus far, it's an awesome color to be worn alone or with a pink/coral over it. The best way for me to describe it is, it's a naked blush. Gives your cheeks definition and character when worn alone. If you top it off with a pink or coral color it will give the colored blush a pop and make your cheeks stand out. For the fair skinned, I think you'd love it!
Hope this helped some of you or all of you in your search for some new blushers!
Any questions? You know how to find me!!!
XO!

DONT FORGET TO ENTER IN MY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!
Hey babes!
How on earth is it September already? Where has the time gone? You know, this year was the first year since I was a little kid that I started to like Summer! I just couldn't stand the extreme heat and mosquitos that come along with the territory, but this year I was really enjoying my Summer. I got a few bites, and a really good tan, what else could I have asked for! Oh! And the heat wasnt so bad! Actually, it was very tolerable and I think it only reached over a hundred like 2-3 times! Well, I'm saying goodbye to Summer and my 25th birthday of course! I am looking forward to Fall and my new business adventures along with expanding my hubby's business. And I, without a doubt, can not wait to wear fabulous jeans, jackets, and sweaters - Pumpkin picking, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in our new home, COUNT ME IN 4th quarter of 2011!
MAC Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in Dark: I typically use this same MSF Natural but in Medium Deep - that's my go-to. But this month I decided to go alittle darker in color and use it as an all over bronzer and powder to seal my foundation and it's fab! I absolutely adore the color, and it gives me a perfect bronze. I am typically light-medium skin-toned so as Summer is ending I needed a pick me up, and this is sure it!
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack: This is a gel liner. I have been using it for a few months now and just as their website says it is "foolproof." It goes on smooth and pigmented and really stays on all day.. I'm talkin' a 12 hour day with out a smudge.
Behind The Scenes Eye Primer by Lorac: SURPRISE! It's not the Urban Decay Primer Potion! I bet you're about to fall off your chair! So, I really am going to say this and I hope you dont hate me for it... but I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT like that eye primer! Lorac's eye primer is so smooth and creamy, it's a beige color but goes on and really blends to your skin tone. I feel like UD's Eye Primer is watery and sticky and ugh... just not a fan! I'm sorry UD Primer Potion lovers, please forgive me! Go get a sample of this eye primer and tell me which one you like!
Chanel Pro Lumiere Foundation: I received a few samples of this foundation from Nordstrom this month and I was testing it out to really see if I'd like it.. and I love it! I am actually waiting to get back to my normal skin-tone for winter to purchase the bottle. Right now I am the color 086 SAND, but I'll definitely be lighter then that by the end of this month. I'd hate to spend the $54 to have to mix it with a lighter color come that time. Mixing is so tedious! I dont mind it on my clients but on myself, boy is it a pain! Anywho, this foundation is awesome. It's a medium to full coverage foundation (buildable), extremely hydrating (awesome for me because I have dry skin), and long lasting! Go grab a sample, afterall, it is free!
E.L.F Blush in Candid Coral: Super cute blush! I love it because it's sheer and has a baby coral color tint to it. E.L.F Blushes are such a bargain and really do the trick! $3 and long lasting cheek shine... I cant resist that! Can you?
DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum: Say that 10x fast! Sheesh! I purchased this a few weeks ago at my girlfriends Dior Event. She's a Dior Makeup Artist and Manager and was hosting an event at Nordstrom. This was one of the few things I purchased and I am really upset I hadnt purchased it sooner! This thing WORKS! It makes my lashes super super long and thick! I have a girlfriend who swears by this too! While we were attending the Makeup Academy together she wouldnt stop ranting about how awesome it was. I kept telling myself I was going to buy it and never did! WHAT WAS I THINKING! Note: This goes on white, WHITE, haha, so you WILL need to use a dark mascara to go over it.. which is where my next Fav comes in!
DiorShow Black Out: I also purchased this at my girlfriends event. I used to use the regular DiorShow by Dior mascara.. religiously! I swore by it because of it's brush! Then I went ahead and found dupes for it so I dropped it! I still absolutely love that one and all my dupes for it, but I wanted to try something new! This mascara takes the cake and will for a while! The brush is different.. it's just as big as the regular DiorShow one but the spikes on the brush are spaced out differently and spiral. You guys know I am absolutely TERRIBLE at describing things so if you have questions or want a review or more info, I'll make a post on it, just request it! So yeah, I put this badboy over my DiorShow Maximizer for a full volume and length effect and boy it does wonders!
If you want any additional info on these, just ask and I'll do a post on it!

DONT FORGET TO ENTER IN MY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!
Hey Babes!
My birthday is around the corner! 2 more days!!! WHOO HOOOOO!! I decided to spoil myself and pick up some more junk I do not need. Don't we all just buy stuff we want but realistically do not need more of! I hate catching myself doing that, but this time there's an exception... mah birfffdayyy!! :P
Here's what I managed to jumble together yesterday.
I cant just leave the house and buy 1 thing, I have to leave the house and buy 700 things. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME! I'm female, that's the problem!
Here's my take on everything!
Creme Cup & Angel are almost identical.. seriously, the one bit of a difference is Angel is a bit more pigmented and gets darker as you apply whereas Creme Cup is sheer and not really buildable. Although, you can apply 1 coat of Angel and 2 coats of Creme Cup and get the same outcome. I dont get it? lol - Alot of MAC lipsticks are like this, very close in color and are dupeable! Revlon has a decent amount of lippies that duplicate MAC's for half the price! I do love them both and have every intension on keeping them even though they're twin sisters. haha
Viva Glam II, I love it! I have loved it for a while, but for a long time I wasnt in a nude lip kinda mood, so I never purchased it. I dont like buying things I wont use.. it's a waste of space kinda thing that I am not into. Anywho, as you know all summer I have been all over nudes like white on rice so I just figured why not scoop this one up and manipulate it into Fall. Yes, PLEASE! I love the fact that part of the proceeds go to the AIDS FOUNDATION and I'm all about giving.
Viva Glam 2 lipglass... smack me silly and call me inlove! Yet, again! I hate when I love something because then I ware it out. Blah.. well this is one lipgloss I will be taking with me everywhere! It's smooth, and soft, not sticky and gooey, and the color is just perfect! As you can see I gooped it on my hand to show you it's color, but it blends into my lips all too well! I actually even wore it over Angel today and it looked fabulous! Go Team Viva Glam!!!
Peaches, Peaches Peaches... The word Peach reminds me of my Uncle Ed's best friend who's nickname happened to be Peach lol I was like 7 and super inlove with this guy who was clearly much older then me.. He was probably 25 at the time! Now the situation wouldnt be so bad, but then... not so much! haha Anyways, MAC PEACHES is such a lovely color! I spotted it on HER DOLL FACE's blog the other day when I was looking at some of her older posts and I couldnt help but purchase it! It just looked like a color that would look fab on me! -& while tooting my own horn right now... it does! It's a perfect peachy color, as you see swatched it's very true to its name. I will be using it for the end of summer and Fall and I just cant wait!
OPI's Nail Polishes were quick pick me ups for my birthday nails - I was going to grab My Address Is Hollywood, but I was scared it wouldnt look good on me. Jenn from imperfection-isbeauty.com grabbed it in her haul the other day and I was so anxious to try it. After I checked it out, it just didnt seem like I'd like it on my nails. I opted for I EAT MAINELY LOBSTER instead because it was brighter and goes with my birthday dress for Saturday. Picking up Lucerne-Tainely Look Marvelous was out of the blue.. I just saw it and liked it and grabbed it. I didnt think it through or analyze like I typically do. To my surprise, I like it alot and plan to wear it after my birthday!
Have you guys shopped for any good stuff recently? Maybe I should stop, I am going to go broke one day I swear!
XO!

<3 DONT FORGET TO ENTER IN MY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!
Just going to give ya some insight on what my daily face routine looks like. This is just going to be what I apply on my face, does not include eye makeup, or lippy stuff! It's a handful alone what goes on my face, let alone everything else! Haha!
Hi Lovelies!
Told you it was a handful! Haha
I absolutely adore all of these products and they are my GO-TOs each and every day I put makeup on my face! I have been using them for quite some time now and have never once gotten a break out, or had a problems with any of them! They are all extremely long lasting and give you the dewey finish I strive for!
The order in which I put these on are:
- Moisturize
- LM Foundation Primer (all over face) this primer is very moisturizing - GREAT for my dry skin
- Erase Paste (under eyes) it is a peachy color that reduces the minor dark circles I have under my eyes - remember dark circles are covered with peachy/red concealors & redness is covered with greenish concealors and blend blend blend!
- Glamoflauge Concealor (under my eyes over the Erase Paste, on my eyelids, and in areas I feel I need more coverage - typically my cheeks because I have slight redness and considering this concealor is "heavy duty" it really covers me up!
- Bobbi Brown Foundation (all over my face including my eyelids and past my jaw line) blend blend blend is the key! I use the ELF FLAT TOP Foundation Brush to apply this!
- Soleil Tan De Chanel (all over cheekbone, temples, and forehead line) I do this to contour my face and reduce larger areas of my face that I want to "hide" - contouring is a major part to adding dimension and angles to your face that you dont normally have without makeup!
- MAC MSF Powder (all over face) - remember whenever you apply something wet to your face, you must seal it with something dry! Using a big puffy brush to apply this is perfect!
- E.L.F Blush (on cheek bone) I apply this first because it has alittle highlight color to it. It's just perfect for what I need everyday. I apply it as a base before I add my MAC Blush.
- MAC Blush (on cheek bone) I apply this right on my cheekbone over the E.L.F Blush. It gives it a more pigmented look after 1 brush stroke and I love that!
& wah-lah!
If you are looking for swatches or in depth details regarding these products, please go to my LABELS section and click on what applies. I have posted related information prior to this post! I do believe the E.L.F Blush and Glamoflauge have not been reviewed or swatched, although the others are.
If you have any questions at all, please, please, ask!

Hey Hey!!
MAC has the loveliest collection of blushes, EVER! With that, it would make my stomach go inside and out for how much they cost! So, on my many voyages to makeup stores and testing products... I found a dupe for one of their most popular blushes! Oh it makes me so happy to share!

These two blushes are practically identical.. with the exception of ONE THING, MAC's blush is CLEARLY more expensive! Why pay more if you can get the same thing FOR LESS?! $19.50 compared to $3.00... you tell me!! AHHHHH DUPES ARE MY FAV!!
