EYE LASHES:
@ ELLA LANE'S GIVEAWAY
These are just a few things I picked up within the past week and a half. Some of which I have used already! I couldnt help, but try them before I posted this so I apologize if I dont have packaging to show you. I will post pics of the packaging from the companies original site.
EYE LASHES:
I purchased these two sets of eyelashes for my birthday coming up! I have used both companies before just different styles of lashes and they worked great! I dont ever use the eyelash glue that comes with ANY eyelash set because I usually have an allergic reaction to the glue. How I know is because the moment the glue touches my eye, it starts to burn unbelievably bad! The best glue to use for false eyelashes would be the DUO EYELASH ADHESIVE. There are two types, both work the same with the same end result. The Pink tube is "Dark Tone" which means it delivers in a charcoal/black color and dries black, and the Blue tube that delivers in "Clear/White" and dries clear.
Note:
One way to test if you are allergic to the glue is to put a tiny bit of it in the center of your arm where it bends. (the spot where blood gets drawn from you because the vein is there) <~ I hope you know where I am talking about! Haha I dont know the name of that area and thats the best way I could describe it! - Allow the glue to sit for a few minutes. If after 3-4 minutes you do not feel a burning or itchy sensation, remove the glue. Let your arm sit for another 3-4 minutes. If after that time frame you feel absolutely nothing, then you should be able to use the glue without a problem. Although, at any point you feel a burning or itching sensation remove the glue IMMEDIATELY, go to the washroom and clean the area with soap and water! It may itch and burn slightly after that is over with, but it will eventually go away. Nothing serious will happen to you. Infact, that is the safest way to test for an allergy for a product like this. As a Professional Makeup Artist this is a procedure I do to test on my clients. It has also been tested on myself multiple times.
FOREVER 21 PIGMENTS:
I purchased these pigments together as they were in a little bag for $1.80. Why not? I don't own very many pigments, but I wanted to grab these to use for my nails! I saw on Beauty's Bad Habit Blog, nail art she performed on her nails using eyeshadow pigments. I will be using her technique in a few short days for my birthday! Stay tuned!!
Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette, ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I am a dark eyeshadow kinda girl. I can't help it! I just love what it does to my eyes and how seductive it looks! These eyeshadows are perfect... love the texture (smooth and creamy) and they hold up so well! This is the new palette for the Fall of 2011. They revamped their Smokey Eye Palette from last year and made the box thinner and changed up some colors. Hope you like it too!
Wet 'n Wild has stepped up their game!! In the past, I wouldnt have bothered with them, honestly. NOT because they are so inexpensive, but because the quality of their products was terrible! Now, let's be real.. we all cant help but skim past the Wet 'n Wild section at the drug store and see what they have. They're lip glosses are pretty awesome and their eyeshadows are pigmented. What more can you ask for? I great swoop over the eye, a glow on the lippie and you're all set! Wet 'n Wild does have a color range in this collection! Neutrals and Purples! Count me in for more WET 'N WILD!
Real Techniques: Starter Kit Brush Set! If you follow Pixiwoo on YouTube or Blogger, then you know what I am talking about! Pure PERFECTION! Those two women are simply amazing. Artistic, professional, and just outright perfect! Sam, from Pixiwoo, teamed up to make these brushes! How fab is thattttt!!! I saw her many videos using these brushes and I couldnt stand anymore NOT having them! I seriously went all over my state in search for these, as the Ulta's near my town did not have them in stock! "Hi, I was wondering if you had the Real Technique's Starter Kit Brush Set available in your store?" "Uhm, no I apologize but we're sold out!" - Yeah, I got that just about every single day for 2 weeks! I stopped calling like a stalker for a few days and finally called one random afternoon just because I had an itch to see if they had any! "Yes, infact, we just got them in but we have 1 left!" --- UHM! I drove so fast to that Ulta I thought I burned out my tires! She just got them in and they were sold out already! I guess people in New Jersey love Pixiwoo and these brushes just as much as I do! Here in the US, Ulta has them retailed @ $15.99 in the store, although their website changed to $17.99. I would hurry before the prices go up!
These brushes are soft, easy to use, and are my new love! I have put aside some of my MAC Brushes for these... hows that!
Hope you enjoyed!
XO!

Hey Babes!
Within the first week of every month I will be posting a favorites post for the previous month! I always find it helpful when I read other blogs and find out all the juicy gossip on what people are loving! I suppose you all will love it too!
Here are my July Favs!!
I have heard awesome reviews about this and I had to have it! After realizing there is no wrong way to use this product, I fell in love! How can you not? It's the perfect color to give you that bronze, sun kissed look! It is a mousse-like texture and very creamy! I have not had any breakouts from it! It blends perfectly! You can apply this after foundation or without foundation! A MUST BUY! USA Cost @ Macys is $48.00.
These two lip products are a match made in heaven! The Mac Satin Lipstick line is extraordinary! The lipstick just glides onto your lips and for me, always stays on so well! I haven't used a lipstick from them I didnt love! Siss is a nude color, satin finish and creamy. I am fair skinned so in the winter this may not look too good on me, but in the summer when I am tan it literally matches my skin tone and lip tone!
This mascara BLEW ME AWAY! I did a post a few months ago on how I was trying to find a dupe for DiorShow Mascara, and I had finally came across Benefit BadGal Lash! Okay.. so I went from paying $24.50, to $19.00, to $7.99 AND this infamous $7.99 product helps my lashes grow... when the other two expensive products DID NOT! UHM BEAT THAT GOOD DEAL! I absolutely LOVE this mascara because it is literally THE SAME BRUSH as DIORSHOW -& BADGAL LASH! I compared them all side by side and tested the bristles! YUP, same ones! They even fit inside eachothers tubes! We all know what makes the mascara is the brush, lets be real here. The product inside, yes, can vary and sometimes even dry out quicker. Although, with these three, they compare in all those categories, THE SAME! - As far as lashes growing... I have been using this product for about 4 months now and I have seen a significant growth in my lashes and even thickness. I always used to joke on my posts how I have 10 lashes on each eye... I literally have like 25 lashes on each eye now. haha ok, not literally because I dont count them, but I am saying they have almost tripled in amount! I wont stop using this product, and I hope you all start! Let me know how you love it!

Top: Mac Satin Lipstick Siss Bottom: Revlon Lip Gloss in Pink Pop |
Revlon's Lip Gloss is not sticky and does not taste bad! If you have read my previous posts you know I hate bad tasting lip products! YUCK! But not this one! It doesnt taste like anything (which is a PLUS+!) and it's long lasting! I am a lip product licker-offer.. lol if that makes any sense! These two take me a while to lick off, and I absolutely LOVE that!

ELF COSMETICS FLAT TOP POWDER BRUSH
I LOVE THIS BRUSH! I USE IT FOR EVERYTHING!! I own several of them which I put to use for quite a few things! First, it's called a "POWDER BRUSH" but it can be used with wet products. I apply my foundation with this! It's dense, and soft, does not acquire alot of product AND DOES NOT SHED! Having been given all that information on how great this brush is... let's top it off with IT ONLY COSTS $3!! American dollars that is! I am not sure the cost in other countries, but it can not be much more then $3 bucks!! It's a brush from their Studio Line. Great line of cosmetics and brushes! You just cant go wrong! This brush can be used to apply foundation, blush, bronzer, and any other way you'd like with wet or dry products! Go buy it, I promise you wont regret it!
SEPHORA BRAND PROFESSIONAL BLUSH BRUSH
Another Fav! I use this for my blush and contouring. It's a synthetic angled brush that really applies my products evenly! It really doesnt grab too much product on it at once so it helps when applying your blush so you dont overdo it. You can really have control over the amount you wish to apply! It's costly at about $32.00- But it's worth the money!! I used the Mac 129 Brush for a long long time! It would shed and would sometimes be very unforgiving. Now that's stashed away for other uses, while my Sephora brush is used and abused!

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara in Black |
Benefit Erase Paste in Medium |
This is a concealer made by Benefit Cosmetics. It is a peachy color. I use this under my eyes because any orangey, peachy color will assist in covering dark eye circles. I do not have dark dark circles, although I have alittle, so this peachy under eye concealer really covers it! I mean, covers it to the point that I even look in the mirror after I apply it and cant believe the cover! They only have 3 color shades. I have the middle color in Medium. I recommend this for anyone looking for that perfect under eye coverup! You dont need to use this with any thing on top either! Just seal it with some powder and you're ready to go!
There you have it lovers! If you have any questions you know how to find me!!
XO!

Hey beauty babes!
Ya'll know what a brush roll is it, right? Okay, so... I made one! Now lets start with this... I do not, and I repeat do not sew. AT ALL! So, the fact that I was able to concoct this brush roll into looking the way it looks and functioning the way it does, someone ought to give me a cookie... more like a cookie times infinity! I almost broke my new sewing machine several times due to my incompetence and lack of hand eye coordination. I am lucky to still be alive and that sewing machine is definitely lucky it didnt get thrown through my window! haha
On a happier note, this gosh darn brush roll is so stinkin' cute, and it really makes me love it even more because I made it!! Here is what it looks like! Don't make fun! hahaha It's the very first one I've ever owned, nonetheless the very first thing I've ever sewn! I refused to go with the "this is my practice one" attitude because I literally was having so much trouble making it that I was bound to make this one as perfect as can be so I didn't ever have to make another one! hahaha
Just wanted to say... you can still see the chalk lines (on the black fabric) all over the place because I needed some cheats to help me along the way. I didn't clean it up too well because I was excited to take pics and show you!

It's not super perfect, but it's perfect enough for me! It'll work for now until I eventually find one I super love and purchase it! Who knows, maybe I'll build up enough patience to actually make another one! hahaha We'll see!!
______________________________________________________
So, I was online shopping (something I do almost everyday) and I found this itty bitty train case from Forever 21 (on their website). I loveeeed it! As much as I loved it, I didn't buy it! Stupid, I know. Hubby always tells me "If you find something you loveeeee, just buy it, because if you don't the next time you actually intend on purchasing it, it's not going to be there." Now tell me this... why does that alwayssssss happen to me! Ugh!! I didn't buy the train case and about a week later (of none stop thinking about the darn thing) I went on their website and it was completely gone! Annoyed, I told him and with his reply "I told you so" I shrugged him off and searched far and wide online (and in stores) for something similar... andddd to no avail!
Just two days ago I was in Forever 21 having to exchange a sweater I purchased that I later realized I'm never going to wear... guess what pops out of the woodworks? This train case I saw ONLINE! Really, what are the odds of that! Forever 21 is always loaded with so many things that sometimes you really need to search through their stuff to find things and that can be a pain sometimes! But not this time!! WHOO HOOO!!! I found it and loved it even more!
Here are some pics from their website, as those pics are better than the ones I took... keep scrolling and you'll see the one of mine.
I haven't decided what I am going to use it for, but until then it's going to sit pretty. I figure maybe if I go to a friends/families house to do someones makeup I can stuff some things in there, or just use it to put my lip glosses, orrrr maybe my nail polishes and nail accessories! Oh the endless possibilities!!!
Hope you ladies enjoyed!
XO!

Hi Dolls!
I just wanted to let you know (if you hadn't already noticed) I put up some pages at the top of my blog. I added some new photos, a blog roll, an inside look to who I am (under My Story), contact information, and soon to come my Wishlist. I have so much on my wishlist - I just havent really had the chance to write them all down.. it's coming soon!
This is a much needed announced E.L.F Haul. I purchased quite a few things from E.L.F about a month or so ago and then I decided I wanted to try out MORE things, so I just waited on blogging about them until I had everything together and I tested most of the things.
I had no idea that E.L.F had such awesome products until after reading quite a few blogs and checkin' out some Vlogs, had I decided to try it out for myself and see if its true! And it is! E.L.F rocks! They have some super inexpensive products that work fantabulously and I'm kinda sad I didnt hear about them sooner!
I'm not kidding when I say I practically bought the company out. I purchased so many things!
I absolutely love the warm bronzer. It's got a super light sparkle to it, but nothing crazy. It's perfect for my skin tone even when I use self tanner. I havent used the HD Powder yet, but I have heard it compares to the MUFE HD Powder, and if that's the case then it's going to be perfect! The Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder is kinda dark for me right now. The blush in the pic (sorry about that) looks very pale, but it's very similar to Nars Orgasm. I'm not too crazy about the blush right now but I know in the Spring and Summer I'll definitely be putting it to use!
I haven't used the Eyeliner & Shadow Stick, but when I do I'll let you know how it turned out for me! The rest of the brushes are FAB! The 5 brushes in the center all work great! I was really hesitant. I typically use MAC brushes and I wasn't sure how these would compare, but they are really great. I use the Lip Defining Brush for my lip balms (so I dont have to use my fingers) and the bristles dont clump or fall out and it applies just the amount I want/need. I use the "C" brushes for cream eye shadows and I have had no problem with them! The last brush is one of my ultimate favorites! I heard so much good stuff about it, that I had to have it! It's a powder brush that can be used with liquid foundation too! I use it to apply my Bobby Brown Moisture Rich Foundation and it's applies it so flawlessly, I'm in love! I have the Sigma Flat Top Kabuki that I also use and they are veryyy similar. I will do a review on that in another post, but this brush is simply perfect! These are all simple and easy to clean and are really excellent quality.
I just swatched these colors for you quickly. I really havent worn any of these colors for more then 2 minutes. I can tell you that they are very pigmented. I absolutely loved the way they looked on me even with how I applied them. My favories are the last two: Mango Madness and Lilac. I will be painting my nails this week a new color and one of them will hit the top spot. I'll keep you updated!
Love this lip balm! Smells yummy and tastes yummy! If you have read my posts you know that I love to lick my gloss off. Haha So I always taste and comment on everything I put on my lips! It goes on smooth and like I said, tastes fab! It's a peachy color and just cute to throw on when you're on the go!
I do not like the conditioning balm in Strawberry Cream. Yuck! It tastes miserable! It just reminds me of the times I accidentally get my hair conditioner in my mouth when I'm showering. (I know it sounds weird, but it happens. lol) It just has these super gross taste and it looks bad on my lips too! Bad buy! The gloss in Vixen, tastes fab and goes on cute too! Very pigmented gloss and does come up like an orange/red color. I love it! And the gloss in Clear was just for a quick pick me up if I'm on the go or if I am wearing a matte lipstick that needs some lovin'. It's super glossy and alittle sticky, but I dont mind that. I actually love glosses that way because I dont lick them off as quick! hahaha
I initially purchased the TM in Apricot Beige and it was just the perfect color of my face. I dont really mind if I am just trying to hide my rosacea, but I do want some color if I am leaving the house with just tinted moisturizer on so I purchased it in Honey. It gives me alittle more color without overdoing me. Its nothing special but it does the trick and I cant complain. I use a Sephora brand TM and their's is more pigmented and lasts longer, but c'mon this was a buck! I'm really not complaining. As you can see I havent opened the concealer. I use a MAC concealer presently and just havent had the opportunity to play around with this yet. I will eventually and keep you updated!
