Hey Dollys!!

I am back, I am back!! I am so sorry I've been gone for far too long, seriously! I have had so much going on in the past few weeks that I havent really been able to sit down and give my blog some lovin'!

I miss everyone so much and I cant wait to get back into the groove of blogging again. I dont ever want to leave again! Haha But I feel like I will be skipping a few days here and there because I am MOVING!!!!

Yes, Hubby and I are moving into our first townhome!!! Yayyyyy!! I know I told you that we were looking. Well, we have been looking for quite some time now... try, like, 4 months! Blah! It was making me crazy! We saw like a zillion houses and townhouses and either it slipped through our fingers, or it was a home with owners that did not take care of it the way they should have!

I literally have the best real estate agent I could have ever asked for! Like, seriously, she took her time with us, knew exactly what we wanted, did not mind at all when I'd bother her with questions or concerns... from the first moment I was introduced to her I knew that I would love her. Now, she's become one of my friends, and I'm ever so grateful! It's a two in one!

So, our townhouse is 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, 1 car garage, huge backyard, and large kitchen that can literally fit 30 people! haha I have pictures of the home (with the previous owners belongings) but I dont want to show that yet! Once we move in and do our own remodels and add our stuff and touches, THEN I'll show it all to you! Leave it as a surprise in the coming weeks!!

I am so excited! WE are so excited. Hubby cant wait to have a big yard for our doggie Tessa, and to have barbecues and dinners with friends and family. He absolutely loves to cook and wants to have a housewarming party as soon as possible!

We've already started packing... we dont move for a few more weeks, but we decided to get the ball rolling on the things we dont use or that we have stored. I'd rather start earlier then have to be running around like a chicken without a head, later. We packed up 8 boxes so far!

As we were packing up some of our bedroom, hubby decided to label the boxes, and this is what I find!

Hubby thinks this is hilarious, by the way!
When I saw it, he was standing behind me with the biggest smile on his face, then he started laughing. I mean, I couldnt help but laugh! It is kinda funny! He made me sell alot of my purses on eBay recently to make room for more and he STILL thinks I have alot! Haha Oy vey!

So Dollys, I wanted to update you on my life, and let you know I am still here just been crazy busy! I will be back soon as I have tons of reviews, hauls, and stories to tell you all!

XO!

Hey babes!

I was reading Lindsey's Blog: The Bargain Blonde and she posted a few days ago 15 Facts About Yourself... now please check out her blog because her facts are absolutely hilarious. SHE'S absolutely hilarious, so check her out and tell her I sent you!

I told her I was voluntarily tagging myself on it and I was going to tell you all 15 Facts About ME! So here I am... ♥

I do wish that I could tell you not to tell anyone... hahaha buttttt thats outta the question considering my situation... hahaha not everyone knows these facts about me so feel privileged! ♥

1. When I was like 16/17 years old I was hanging out with some friends and we decided to go to Burger King. As soon as I got into Burger King I had to pee, like, super bad! ON TOP of that... there was like a sea of super hott guys sitting near the restrooms talking/eating. I told my girlfriends "watch this!" I ran past them (trying to look as cute as possible) and pushed the bathroom door in making every attempt to look sexy in front of them. As soon I walked in... I realized I was in the MENS BATHROOM! Again, I had to pee super bad and I was not about to walk out of there without peeing!! So I did my business, washed my hands, and RAN OUT! As I was running past the sea of super cute guys, I hear them laughing - obviously at the fact that I accidentally went into the wrong restroom! So I started talking to my girlfriends and as I looked down at my feet I saw.... dun dun dunnnn TOILET PAPER!!!!!! I HAD TOILET PAPER STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF MY SHOE!!!! So those super cute guys were ALSO laughing at me because of the toilet paper stuck to my shoe! HOW EMBARRASSING! After I realized that, I put my head down and told my friends we had to go! Needless to say none of those guys bothered to ask for my name or my number! Hahaha

2. I am unbelievable with numbers. As a child I could do math problems in seconds. It was gift my parents had no idea what to do with. Even til this day I can remember mathematical problems and numbers. If you give me a list of numbers I will memorize them on the spot and repeat them back to you. My parents find it extremely amusing and any chance they get they make me utilize my "ability."

3. The numbers 7 17 follow me everywhere! I could tell you a hundred million stories about those numbers... I'd probably freak you out. Just to name a few... my mothers birthdate and death date, my birthdate, my fathers birthdate, my cheerleading number, codes I have been given, friends license plate numbers, all of my cell phone numbers... etc. Anyone that I have come across has somehow had something to do with those numbers. Here's a story that will get your hairs raised!

I was hanging out with a girl friend in my condo... I was telling her about my birth mom and how I have a dress she wore a few times... just something that belonged to her that I cherish. It was sitting in my closet and I decided to show it to her. As I was pulling it out of the closet I looked at the tag in back that shows the size or name of designer. It caught my eye because it was a tag that was put on there from the dry cleaners (mind you this dress hadnt been worn in over 20 years so the last time that was dry cleaned was probably in the early 90s and we were in 2009).. the tag read 827... here's the crazy part. 827 is my birthdate, August 27th - Add the numbers together equal 17. Yeahhhhh, nuts right??!?! So it's my mothers dress from the early 90s, that had a tag on it that read 827, which is my birthdate, which equals 17. Yup, story of my life! It follows me everywhere! Maybe it's my Mom?? I love thinking that! ♥

4. I love cheese! I know, I know, alot of people hate cheese, so I'm sure most of you will think I'm crazy! But I do! I purchase the big Polly-O Cheese from the grocery store and cut it up into cubes and eat it throughout the week. Sounds so gross, hahaha BUT I LOVE IT!!! AHHHH!

5. As girlie as I am, I have kayaked, mountain biked, camped, owned a boating license which includes jet-skiing, rock climbed, and cliff jumped. I haven't done any of these in about 3 years, but it was a huge part of my life for a long time and I loved every minute of it!

6. I was captain of my high schools Boys Varsity Soccer team. Hahaha I know, can you believe that? I look back on it and I can hardly believe it either! I had the best team ever and I miss all my guy friends so much! I still keep in touch with a few of them, and for that I am grateful! I played 3 years with them and they were a big part of my life!

7. I have played sports all of my life which include: cheering (competition cheerleading and football/basketball), gymnastics, soccer, and martial arts (taekwondo). And throughout that time I have broken my right foot, my right elbow, my right hand middle finger, and I (still til this day) have a torn meniscus in my right knee. Why did everything happen on my right side? NO IDEA! I actually do everything lefty except write, so to think I broke almost every bone going down the right side of my body is just weird! Hahaha Maybe I'm just weird?

8. I love leopard/cheetah print! My collection includes purses, credit cards, jewelry, shoes, clothes, keys, tape (yes I own leopard tape!), and a bunch of things more! I can't help it!

9. I love the History Channel! One thing the hubs and I do is Tivo History Channel shows and watch them any chance we get. I've always loved History, and as I get older, I have really gained a passion for it. It's very very interesting!

10. I LOVE TO WATCH TV MUTED. hahaha I feel like such a sillyface telling you that! My friends and family think I'm an absolutely weirdo for it, but again, I can't help it! It's soothing and relaxing. It makes you pay attention to whats going on more and allows you to figure out what's going on. I do it about 2 hours a day.

11. I have Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorder. Say that 10 times fast. haha It's formally known as TMJ. Have you heard of it? Google it, it sucks! I've actually had it since I was about 7 years old. My jaw is dislocated severely. I have seen several doctors regarding the problem and my latest news is that I need to have an updated MRI done of my jaw to find out how much tissue I actually have left. From what my doctor believes, I have none.. therefore putting me at risk for my jaw actually being closed shut while I sleep and enabling me to wake up and not be able to open my mouth. It happens every morning, but I always can pop it open. Only once has it happened that I could not open it. I cried and sobbed and panicked - during that process I must have loosened something and it popped open. I currently do not health insurance, but I will shortly, when I do, I will be getting that MRI done. Next step should be surgery. I'll keep you posted on my progress with it all!

13. I dont know why this is number 13, it should be number 1... haha buttt I have OCD and I am a CLEANNNN FAARREEEEAAKK!! Uh yeah, I absolutely HATE when I go on my rampages and clean everything. It's really exhausting, but I can't help it. Everything in my home, in my purse, in my car... in my everything.. lol is neatly placed and clean. I've always been this way and I get it from my Dad. He's really Obsessive Compulsive about everything. I do things a certain way and need them to be done that way at all times. I am very fortunate that I have found a man to understand my problem and help me with it. My hubby is the most understanding when it comes to my OCD. It's a great quality to have, but sometimes it even drives ME nuts!

14. When I was younger my parents never allowed me to wear makeup or paint my nails or anything. I alwayyysssss dreamed of one day being able to wear makeup and doll myself up! One day I was putting lotion on my face (mind you I was probably like 12) and I realized my cheeks were rosey. I LOVED HOW IT LOOKED! So what I would do is put lotion on my face and smack my cheeks lightly and it would make my cheeks look super pink! I would hope people would notice it and think I looked cute because I was "wearing blush." Even though I had absolutely nothing on my face, but lotion and red cheeks from smacking myself - I wanted other people to think I was wearing makeup! hahaha I wanted to be cool and that was my way of showing it!

15. I love Indian inspired things! As a child I always wanted to be Indian! I admired their culture and heritage and clothing! Even today in our living room I own handmade Indian curtains imported from India. They are absolutely gorgeous! They cost me a lump sum of money, but I had to have them! I still embrace their culture and appreciate their heritage.

Hope you enjoyed my crazy FACTS! I'm sure there are a zillion more things about me you may never know, so if you want to know anything, just ask! I'll definitely answer your question no matter what it is! I am open and honest! No question will be too weird or too personal, I'm sure I've heard it all!

XO!

Hey Dolls!

Love love love music... I'm sure all of you can say the same! I was going through my cell phone and I came across some super adorable pics I had of Lady Gaga. Music is such an inspiration to my life. It's an escape of reality that embraces me and keeps me feeling alive and beautiful and loved. Not that I don't feel that in real life, but it's just so different. I know you all understand!

On top of the fact she can sing her tush off, and write music that relates to my life, she has the most fab sense of style. It bleeds her personality and how she is feeling which really gets me to relate to her and love her so much!

Lady Gaga
Okay lets be real here... Lady Gaga? She's amaaaazzing! I know I know she's a little different... BUT she's REAL! She's Lady Gaga all day everyday no matter who is watching, who is publishing, who is taping, who is photographing... etc. You catch my drift. She doesn't care what negative people have to say about her, all she cares about is her fans being happy and her music being heard. Aside from her personality, yes I love her style. She's raunchy and dirty (in a good way) and her clothes define how she is feeling, and who she is on the inside. Some people really cant put that together. Some people really cant wear things that show who they are... they're afraid to commit to themselves for fear of what others will think. I get it, nowadays you cant step out of your house without being critiqued - but like Gaga, WHO CARES?! You are you, no one else lives your life and looks at you day in and day out when the doors are closed, but you! So for that simple reason, you need to be you. People will always have something to say, but if you love yourself regardless of what they have to say thats what matters most! Your sense of style can truly define how you are feeling or what you are all about. Originality is key and the only way that is possible is if you put your own touch to it! I love how Gaga possesses that quality and shows that to us in every way she can, even if it's through her meat dresses and bows!

ME as Lady Gaga for Halloween 2010
I actually was Lady Gaga for Halloween. I wasn't even going to dress up, but something clicked in my head that I need to be a little more fun and put myself outside the box instead of this quiet sophisticated girl. I did the best I could ;)

My hair was down most of the night, but I was hot and tired as the night went on so I rolled my hair (aka wig) in a bun and pinned it.

My "sunglasses", I made them myself. I purchased these oversized glasses from a halloween store and purchased these rhinestone kinda things from a craft store and hot glued them on top of the lenses. I burned myself a few times, but I got the job done! Everyone loved them!!

My bodysuit was from another costume, not a Gaga one. It was from this rockstar outfit, but it totally went well with my theme so it was a given to purchase!

I also drew the lightening bolt over my eye (as she does it), but since I had my sunglasses on most of the night, I don't have any pics with it visible.

The glove, can you see it? I was a black glove with spikes on it... loved it the moment I saw it, perfect Gaga accessory!

My stockings have holes in them, but not on purpose. I actually was putting them on and as I stretched them up they ripped. I havent worn stockings since maybe 5th grade, I didnt know what I was doing. haha Even though they ripped, it still went well with the look I was going for! Amen for that!

Holy wig! It was such a pain in the tush to find a platinum blonde wig WITH a platinum blonde bow! Seeing as I put this WHOLE outfit together 2 days before Halloween, I had barely any opportunity to find the right stuff! Everything was sold out. I managed to find the wig at a halloween store and the bow at Claires. Claires is an accessory store for primarily a younger generation, but they had some awesome stuff! No idea what made me go in there to see if they had a bow, nonetheless a bow to match the platinum blonde wig I already purchased! I was ecstatic!!

As for my shoes, I wore regular black stilettos that I had tucked away for this kind of night. Haha. They had some shine to them and totally meshed with the rest of my ensemble!

What do you think ladies?! Did I do OK? Haha It's a far cry from my everyday look, but something to remember!!

XO!

Hey Dolls!

I want to tell you about my latest obsessions! I have TONS of obsessions, but the latest are super fun and cute and I can't help but share!

Louis Vuitton Speedy 30

This is my Louis! I got it for Christmas this past year (2010) and he's my favoritest ever! I LOVE BIG BAGS! Call me the bag lady if you will, but I do not mind wearing oversized purses! They are my obsession and I can't help it! I am that girl who carries EVERYTHING with her so oversized bags are a super must!

MAC Dollymix Blush
Okay seriously, if you do not own this, PLEASE go out and buy it now! I have been wearing Dollymix for-EVER! I can't imagine my life without it! I honestly can't compare this to any other blush because it's all I wear! I will say that I wore a blush (last night for the first time) that is part of a limited edition palette from Sephora and it was suuper cute, but doesn't compare at ALL to this! I love it because it's the perfect pink to your cheeks and you can either wear it as a light pink or a hot pink- for day or night. Amazing for all skin types too! I'm usually really light in the winter and tan in the summer- I wear it year round! Ladies, if you purchase it or already own it, let me know how you like it!

Benefit BADgal Lash in Rich Black

Where do I start? Ok, so... I barely have any eyelashes! I don't know why, either! All my life I've been eyelash deprived! So after going through tons of the 'drugstore' brand mascaras, I gave in to spending $24.50 on DiorShow! DiorShow gets summed up in one word: FAB! Why is DiorShow "FAB!" well because it worked WONDERS on my eyelashes, all like 10 of them! (okay I know I have more then 10, I'm just exaggerating - ha!) I love the fact that it gives volume, and length, and really made me feel like I had a million eyelashes! So after wearing DiorShow for about 2 years, I was just looking for something similar, not as expensive, and can make me feel the way I feel about DiorShow. Setting myself up for failure, I began my journey. I tested soooooo many mascaras and I was just NOT happy! I couldn't find anything to give me what I wanted... I just wanted my eyelashes to look like I have a million... is that too hard to ask? Out of NOWHERE Benefit BADgal Lash popped from the shelf to my eye! I was just looking at Benefit products at Sephora and noticed the brush itself. It looked super similar to DiorShow and I was intrigued. I tried it on and batted my eyes, and that was it, it came home with me! It's my the newest addition to my lovely makeup collection and I'm so inlove! I miss my DiorShow because I'm so used to looking at it, although it makes me feel great to save $5.50 and still have exactly what I'm used to! I dont mind spending money on beauty products, I truly dont, but if I can save a penny, why not?!

Lip Fusion INFATUATION in La Lip Jolie
I was never really a lip gloss girl... I always lick it off. I have a bad habit of doing that! Lipsticks usually work better with me because they arent typically "glossy" and hardly taste yummy to make me want to lick it off. haha- typing this makes me laugh, because I never really admitted to the fact that I eat my lipgloss LOL! This Lip Fusion is a lip plumper and it's super fab! I purchased Nars Turkish Delight and it tasted terrible (going back to me licking my lipgloss off) and I just couldn't stomach it- plus my lips are a rose color and the light pink-ness of Turkish Delight made me look kinda funny. I went back to Sephora to exchange it and a makeup artist helped me find this one! It tastes yummy and looks GREAT on my lips! I wear it all the time, even going to the grocery store! I don't mind the minor tingling it gives me once I put it on and for alittle while after, either! I can say that it doesn't really make my lips look any bigger or "puffier." It just tastes, looks, and feels good! It's alittle pricey at $29.00, but definitely worth it for me! Oh! And I surprisingly don't lick it off!

Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation in Honey
I LOVEEEEE THIS FOUNDATION! I was on a hunt for a new foundation that gives a medium to build-able full coverage and this was just it! I was previously wearing Hourglass in #5. Hourglass is a great foundation, but I don't miss it! Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich is perfect for my dry skin! I am also using self tanner so my skin tone on my face is alittle off from time to time and this has made my skin look like a porcelain doll! It gives my skin the hydration it needs and keeps it soft and put together in every single way! It makes me feel like I'm not wearing anything while giving me the coverage I want (because I can control it). Also, it's only $45.00 compared to the $60.00 I was paying for Hourglass!

There you have it girls! My latest obsessions! What are YOUR obsessions?!

XO!
