Hey babes!

I was reading Lindsey's Blog: The Bargain Blonde and she posted a few days ago 15 Facts About Yourself... now please check out her blog because her facts are absolutely hilarious. SHE'S absolutely hilarious, so check her out and tell her I sent you!

I told her I was voluntarily tagging myself on it and I was going to tell you all 15 Facts About ME! So here I am... ♥

I do wish that I could tell you not to tell anyone... hahaha buttttt thats outta the question considering my situation... hahaha not everyone knows these facts about me so feel privileged! ♥

1. When I was like 16/17 years old I was hanging out with some friends and we decided to go to Burger King. As soon as I got into Burger King I had to pee, like, super bad! ON TOP of that... there was like a sea of super hott guys sitting near the restrooms talking/eating. I told my girlfriends "watch this!" I ran past them (trying to look as cute as possible) and pushed the bathroom door in making every attempt to look sexy in front of them. As soon I walked in... I realized I was in the MENS BATHROOM! Again, I had to pee super bad and I was not about to walk out of there without peeing!! So I did my business, washed my hands, and RAN OUT! As I was running past the sea of super cute guys, I hear them laughing - obviously at the fact that I accidentally went into the wrong restroom! So I started talking to my girlfriends and as I looked down at my feet I saw.... dun dun dunnnn TOILET PAPER!!!!!! I HAD TOILET PAPER STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF MY SHOE!!!! So those super cute guys were ALSO laughing at me because of the toilet paper stuck to my shoe! HOW EMBARRASSING! After I realized that, I put my head down and told my friends we had to go! Needless to say none of those guys bothered to ask for my name or my number! Hahaha

2. I am unbelievable with numbers. As a child I could do math problems in seconds. It was gift my parents had no idea what to do with. Even til this day I can remember mathematical problems and numbers. If you give me a list of numbers I will memorize them on the spot and repeat them back to you. My parents find it extremely amusing and any chance they get they make me utilize my "ability."

3. The numbers 7 17 follow me everywhere! I could tell you a hundred million stories about those numbers... I'd probably freak you out. Just to name a few... my mothers birthdate and death date, my birthdate, my fathers birthdate, my cheerleading number, codes I have been given, friends license plate numbers, all of my cell phone numbers... etc. Anyone that I have come across has somehow had something to do with those numbers. Here's a story that will get your hairs raised!

I was hanging out with a girl friend in my condo... I was telling her about my birth mom and how I have a dress she wore a few times... just something that belonged to her that I cherish. It was sitting in my closet and I decided to show it to her. As I was pulling it out of the closet I looked at the tag in back that shows the size or name of designer. It caught my eye because it was a tag that was put on there from the dry cleaners (mind you this dress hadnt been worn in over 20 years so the last time that was dry cleaned was probably in the early 90s and we were in 2009).. the tag read 827... here's the crazy part. 827 is my birthdate, August 27th - Add the numbers together equal 17. Yeahhhhh, nuts right??!?! So it's my mothers dress from the early 90s, that had a tag on it that read 827, which is my birthdate, which equals 17. Yup, story of my life! It follows me everywhere! Maybe it's my Mom?? I love thinking that! ♥

4. I love cheese! I know, I know, alot of people hate cheese, so I'm sure most of you will think I'm crazy! But I do! I purchase the big Polly-O Cheese from the grocery store and cut it up into cubes and eat it throughout the week. Sounds so gross, hahaha BUT I LOVE IT!!! AHHHH!

5. As girlie as I am, I have kayaked, mountain biked, camped, owned a boating license which includes jet-skiing, rock climbed, and cliff jumped. I haven't done any of these in about 3 years, but it was a huge part of my life for a long time and I loved every minute of it!

6. I was captain of my high schools Boys Varsity Soccer team. Hahaha I know, can you believe that? I look back on it and I can hardly believe it either! I had the best team ever and I miss all my guy friends so much! I still keep in touch with a few of them, and for that I am grateful! I played 3 years with them and they were a big part of my life!

7. I have played sports all of my life which include: cheering (competition cheerleading and football/basketball), gymnastics, soccer, and martial arts (taekwondo). And throughout that time I have broken my right foot, my right elbow, my right hand middle finger, and I (still til this day) have a torn meniscus in my right knee. Why did everything happen on my right side? NO IDEA! I actually do everything lefty except write, so to think I broke almost every bone going down the right side of my body is just weird! Hahaha Maybe I'm just weird?

8. I love leopard/cheetah print! My collection includes purses, credit cards, jewelry, shoes, clothes, keys, tape (yes I own leopard tape!), and a bunch of things more! I can't help it!

9. I love the History Channel! One thing the hubs and I do is Tivo History Channel shows and watch them any chance we get. I've always loved History, and as I get older, I have really gained a passion for it. It's very very interesting!

10. I LOVE TO WATCH TV MUTED. hahaha I feel like such a sillyface telling you that! My friends and family think I'm an absolutely weirdo for it, but again, I can't help it! It's soothing and relaxing. It makes you pay attention to whats going on more and allows you to figure out what's going on. I do it about 2 hours a day.

11. I have Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorder. Say that 10 times fast. haha It's formally known as TMJ. Have you heard of it? Google it, it sucks! I've actually had it since I was about 7 years old. My jaw is dislocated severely. I have seen several doctors regarding the problem and my latest news is that I need to have an updated MRI done of my jaw to find out how much tissue I actually have left. From what my doctor believes, I have none.. therefore putting me at risk for my jaw actually being closed shut while I sleep and enabling me to wake up and not be able to open my mouth. It happens every morning, but I always can pop it open. Only once has it happened that I could not open it. I cried and sobbed and panicked - during that process I must have loosened something and it popped open. I currently do not health insurance, but I will shortly, when I do, I will be getting that MRI done. Next step should be surgery. I'll keep you posted on my progress with it all!

13. I dont know why this is number 13, it should be number 1... haha buttt I have OCD and I am a CLEANNNN FAARREEEEAAKK!! Uh yeah, I absolutely HATE when I go on my rampages and clean everything. It's really exhausting, but I can't help it. Everything in my home, in my purse, in my car... in my everything.. lol is neatly placed and clean. I've always been this way and I get it from my Dad. He's really Obsessive Compulsive about everything. I do things a certain way and need them to be done that way at all times. I am very fortunate that I have found a man to understand my problem and help me with it. My hubby is the most understanding when it comes to my OCD. It's a great quality to have, but sometimes it even drives ME nuts!

14. When I was younger my parents never allowed me to wear makeup or paint my nails or anything. I alwayyysssss dreamed of one day being able to wear makeup and doll myself up! One day I was putting lotion on my face (mind you I was probably like 12) and I realized my cheeks were rosey. I LOVED HOW IT LOOKED! So what I would do is put lotion on my face and smack my cheeks lightly and it would make my cheeks look super pink! I would hope people would notice it and think I looked cute because I was "wearing blush." Even though I had absolutely nothing on my face, but lotion and red cheeks from smacking myself - I wanted other people to think I was wearing makeup! hahaha I wanted to be cool and that was my way of showing it!

15. I love Indian inspired things! As a child I always wanted to be Indian! I admired their culture and heritage and clothing! Even today in our living room I own handmade Indian curtains imported from India. They are absolutely gorgeous! They cost me a lump sum of money, but I had to have them! I still embrace their culture and appreciate their heritage.

Hope you enjoyed my crazy FACTS! I'm sure there are a zillion more things about me you may never know, so if you want to know anything, just ask! I'll definitely answer your question no matter what it is! I am open and honest! No question will be too weird or too personal, I'm sure I've heard it all!

XO!

First, THANK YOU FOR THE SHOUT OUT! You are too sweet!!! Love it!

Now, on to your facts ...

1. I am HORRIBLE with numbers. I still count using my hands. It's just NEVER been my thing. I mean, I can do math ... Algebra was my favorite because I'm very logical and I loved the formulas. Butttt ... I hated CALCULUS. Writing has just always been my thing ... hence, Journalism degree.

2. I LOVE CHEESE! People that don't are weird and my BFF does NOT like cheese, which I've NEVER understood. Cheese and crackers is my FAVE snack! I eat it all the time, even ate it last night!

3. I was a competitive gymnast for 14 years and broke my RIGHT ELBOW TOO! Well, really I broke my growth plate, but same diff. I had to have surgery to get 2 pins put in my arm. Also, I'm a lefty in everything but writing too. I was a lefty in gymnastics and no one understood that.

4. I'm OCD ... sometimes. I have everything lined up perfectly and if one thing is off centered I WILL notice. I always call my apt a "crack den" when it gets messy, which it really does! But my friends don't believe me. They are like, ummm ... your idea of "messy" is one candle off center. That can be true! Butttt, I do sometimes let it get out of control, but I absolutely CANNOT stand it like that.

5. And last but not least I am OBSESSED with BOLLYWOOD DANCING! I want to learn how to do that!!!

ok, that is all! Thanks again for the shout out, you are AWESOME! And Happy St. PATRICK'S DAY!

Ok so....
1) That is so interesting and amazing all at the same time about the 7, 17 thing... it gave me goosbumps! That must be an amazing feeling when it comes up knowing that it's your mom telling you she's there watching over you!
2) I was a competitive gymnast for 8 years and dancer for 6 and I have a torn meniscus in... get this, MY RIGHT FREAKIN KNEE! This is starting to creep me out. I had to quit dance because I kept re-taring (sp?) it and my doctor was worried I was going to permanently damage my knee which I pretty much did because to this day I can't run and sometimes my knee will give out for no reason (even if I don't run).
3) (You would think I'm starting to make some of these things up...) I don't have TMJ, never heard of it actually, but I've always had issues with my jaw. It cracks really loudly everytime I eat and it hasn't happened a lot, but there have been a couple of times that it has locked and I have to wiggle it to get it loose and "unlock" it.
4) I think it sucks that you guys don't have free health care. I don't think its fair and I hope that changes soon! Take care of the TMJ, it sounds horrible =(

Oh my goodness, I also have TMJ! I seriously have never come across anyone who has had it before! Only in about the last 6 months has it been getting worse and worse, and I'm not really sure where to go from here! I had physio before and I now need to go see a specialist as its not getting better! We should definitely keep in touch about it!!

And poor you about the bathroom incident :( and that is so scary about the numbers, I have heard a few stories like that :S
